Woody fragrances

Sandalwood, cedar, vetiver and dry woods run through this collection. These are the grounded scents in the library: warm, steady and easy to wear, without the sweetness of the gourmands or the weight of the darkest ouds.

Woody scents suit almost anyone, which makes them a sound first choice and a safe gift. Lighter cedar and vetiver read clean and dry in the daytime. Sandalwood, especially blended with amber or musk, turns softer and warmer by evening.

Most scents here come as an alcohol-free Parfum Oil or an Extrait de Parfum at 40% concentration. The oil wears close and personal. The Extrait opens brighter and travels further. Skin is the only honest place to judge a woody scent, so start with a roll-on or a discovery set if you are unsure.
