If you usually find florals old-fashioned, look for the ones blended with oud, amber or musk. The flowers stay, but they sit darker and warmer on the skin. If you love a classic bouquet, the lighter jasmine and orange blossom scents are the ones to try first.
Most scents here come as an alcohol-free Parfum Oil or an Extrait de Parfum at 40% concentration. The oil wears close, like the scent left on skin after holding flowers. The Extrait opens brighter and fills a room faster. Try on skin before you decide: the same rose reads differently on different people.
